Treasures for me

Besides doing Crafts and Knitting, there's one more thing that I really like doing, or I think 2 more thing. :)  I love watching Korean dramas, listening to K pop songs, singing K pop songs and I'm learning Korean language. I know now how to read and write Korean. Yaay! and in short, I love Korean. :) the other one I like doing is watching anime. Since what I'm going to tell you are about K pop, (If it isn't so obvious) I'm not going to talk about anime now. Maybe next time. :)

So, yeah I think I'm a bit weird if I'd say that what I called treasures are my posters and albums. :)

We have 5 albums so far and still waiting for the arrival of the other one. Which is Kim Jaejoong's full album. "WWW" I can't wait to see what is inside! I already saw what the poster looks like though. :)

I show to you already my albums, now for the posters. :)

So yeah. That's it! Gotta update you when our order arrives. Sorry, I'm kinda too lazy to write an entry today. Bye for now! :)

Enjoying and practicing

October 24. It's my birthday today. Happy birthday to me!  Gosh! I'm already 20! Okay let's put it aside. :)

So, as I have shared to you my new hobby last time, I've already finished my headband and here what it looks like.

and Yaaaay! It fit so well. It's not too tight nor too loose. I like it and I like wearing headband especially when I wouldn't going to wash my hair. Cause I only wash my hair 2 to 3 or 3 to 4 times a week. (I've said it before on my post here)

After I finished making my headband, I've started to try making a hat and I'm going to show it to you. I'm sorry if it's not pretty perfect. I've made a lot of mistakes here which I have to unstitched a whole row and stitched it again. But yeah, I
had to be patient on this one. Though it is not so perfect, I still want it turn out what I wanted it to be. :) So here it is.

Tada! :)
It's the first hat I've made and I've made it for four days which is faster than I thought. I thought I would finish it after 1 week. So I was a little surprised. :)

Every time I knit, I've never felt tired. Maybe because I enjoyed it and I love what I'm doing. It makes me happy every time I finished what I'm knitting and I feel so proud. I've made something that really shows a lot of effort. I mean, every knit has been made by your hand. How can you not be proud? :) My father wants me to make him a Balaclava. I'm studying the pattern I've got from Ravelry. It's a free pattern btw. I'm still looking for an Olive green yarn. (He wants it to be Olive green) So yeah, I hope I can make a Balaclava for my father. Wish me luck! <3

My new hobby

I got a new hobby! Yaaay! Let me introduce it to you. :)

Practicing stockinette :)
I said it before on my G+ that I'm interested in Knitting and wanna learn how to knit. As I love doing DIY's and learning other crafts. Searching for other DIY's and some other crafts that I can do and learn, I frequently saw these knitting which gave me a big curiosity, and what really gave me the attention to learn how to knit is those "Knitting needle" I was like, that's amazing! 2 needles like it was dancing. Hahaha! (I'm funny) but yeah, it really is the reason. It was a bit the same on crochet (I think)

I've watched different tutorials on YouTube, and tried it after. I have my yarn but I don't have those knitting needles yet. But since I really like to try it as soon as I can, I used my chopsticks! Yes! Chopsticks! Hahaha! I've practiced knitting and made these Bow hairpin and it turns out good. Yaay me! :)

I love ribbon, so I made another one, but this time a headband and this time I have my knitting needle already. :) It's my second DIY headband anyway. I'll post the picture of my 1st DIY headband just to show you. ( it's not related on knitting though.)

This is my second diy headband and 2nd time knitting a bow. :)
I tried to practice knitting and purling. The stockinette stitch which is the easiest one especially for a beginners like me. I made a camera case. It's a bit boring though. -_-
So plain. -_-
I'm still practicing and I'm doing a turban headband right now. :) I think I gotta post the completed turban headband next time. :)

If you already noticed why is it all red yarn? Well, I don't even know why. :)) Hahaha! Doesn't matter I'm still practicing. On my next work, I'll make sure to use other color. :))

It's all started in one picture on facebook

A long, shiny, thick healthy hair. Who's girl doesn't want that? Well, yeah. Either long or short hair, girls want to have a perfect hair. Right?

I've never care for my hair before. I didn't even realized that I was already damaging it. I could say it's perfectly DAMAGED! It feels like my hair stopped growing, I have a lots of split ends, it's super dry and veeery brittle and very THIN! It is so unhealthy. My mom noticed it a lot and I was like "I don't mind." How careless can I get?

Until one day I saw these picture on the net.
Dutch Flower Braid
I found it cute so I search for the tutorial on youtube and found Cute Girls Hairstyles's video. If you want to learn it too, here's the link! Dutch Flower Braid CGH Tutorial. After watching that video, I started to try it on myself. It turns fine but not well-made. I have a thin hair so the braid was very tiny and has a lot of hair popping out. (I have layered hair) It was a bit hard since it's my first doing something like that on my hair. I usually just pony my hair at my back or braid it normally. CGH's has a lot of hairstyle tutorial so I've watched different hairstyles. I tried every hairstyles and yeah, it turns so pretty. I've practice every single hairstyles I've learned until braiding has been an easy task for me. Maybe because I've been used to it. (Well.. They say practice makes perfect. It's true.)

After watching lots of hairstyles on YouTube, I've noticed that it's not only the hairstyles are good, also the hair. Their hair was very thick and long, looks so smooth and shiny. While my hair is the other way around. -_-
So I've realized that "I should take good care of my hair too!" I've searched and searched natural remedies that is good to hair. I love using natural. I think it's more effective. I've used coconut oil. I tried to leave it on my hair for an hour or more before I wash my hair and oh, I've learned also that washing your hair everyday is not healthy so now, I only wash my hair 2 to 3 times a week. Some people might think it's dirty but I only want what is good for my hair. I massaged my hair everyday before I go to sleep. Sometimes I used oil. I tried to trimmed my hair every month and yeah, I've noticed my hair has changed. It becomes more soft and shiny. I think that's a big improvement for a start. :)

Fossil/Skeleton leaves

Since I've been in love doing crafts right now, I just remembered something crafty I've done when I was in my 2nd year High school. Actually, it was our project in biology. Our professor taught us how to make a leaf skeleton (or also called a fossil leaf) It was really fun doing this and I think it's good as a decoration. :) The tools are very simple and you will simply get it in your house.

You only need a washing soda, a cooking pot, water, a toothbrush or a paint brush and of course the leaves. (you might want to use a leaves that has a thick skeleton like so it won't tear too easily)

First thing you have to do is to put the leaves in a pot. Choose a pot that is enough to put the ingredients inside. (Yeah, we're gonna cook! Haha!) Next is to add some 3 cups of washing soda and a same amount of water into the pot of leaves. Open your stove and let the it boil until the leaves goes soft.

So when you that it's boiling already, you can lower the heat and let it simmer for some minute. You'll see the leaves are becoming soggy and brown-ish (That's natural) and the water will dry out so before it happens, put some water into it again but you don't need to put another washing soda. Anyways, boiling this will take a lot of minutes or so. Patience is needed.

After that, gently remove your leaves from the pot. You don't want to break the leaves. If the water on the pot is still hot, you could wait for a while to let the water cool. That could also help to make the leaves easy to brush as the next step..

Itt's time to use your toothbrush or a brush. (If you're going to use toothbrush, just use your old toothbrush. Doesn't need to be new) then again, gently brush it to remove the excess pulp. Rinsed with water to make it more clean. Blow dry it or just put in into a paper towel to let it dry. Then you are done! You already have your own skeleton leaves, perfect for designing. You can also use some dye to color it if you want to. :)

What shoe color would matches this dress?

So my friend just invited me on her mom's party this coming November.  It's a neon party so we should wear neon cocktail dresses. Yup, It should be cocktail. (That's what she said) So I searched at Google about neon cocktail dresses. I found this one and I'm loving it!
I'd like to wear something cute and simple like that. As for the acessories, thank goodness I have bangles similar as that. Thanks to my Aunt who gave that to me. :) For my hair, I don't think too much what should I do to my hair since I love hairstyles and Cute Girls Hairstyles are there to help me. That's one of the YouTube Channel that I really really love to visit. So.. now, I was thinking what color of shoe would be perfect for this dress? Any ideas? :)

A little Introduction

Hi! I'm Rossane. Maybe Sanne for short. (pronounces like "Sun")

So.. Why did I make a blog? Actually, I'm not really into blogging. But I love reading blogs. Lol! I made this blog to follow those bloggers that inspires me.

"Things that makes me happy" is what my blog says. I only follow blogs who talk about lifestyles like DIY, tips, cooking, some fashion, nail arts, hairstyling and hair care and yes, I reaaaally love those and that really makes me happy.

Doing DIY makes you creative. You learned from tips. I love food and so is cooking. I'm obsessed with nail arts and hairstyles so I'm trying to know some hair care as well and of course fashion. I think every girl loves fashion right? :)  So yeah, I guess that's all I have to say in my lttle introduction. Bye!

By the way, the picture above is my very first DIY Bow hairclip. :)
